Our friend Julie was the first to try out Lotta’s Beach Themed Sugar Cookie Recipe and said it was delicious! Plus Lotta Pedal received her first book review on Amazon-five stars!”

FREMONT, CA. March 6, 2023 - Adventurous, curious, stylish. Meet Lotta Pedal.

Lotta Pedal puts a new spin on girl power with her humble yet inspiring attitude as she taps into her scrappy confidence, quick wit and ‘can do’ attitude to tackle every adventure that comes her way.

Sporting her very own signature style, a newly designed surfboard and a box filled with her beach-themed cookies, she spends her first day of summer in search of the perfect wave.  

Join Lotta for a west coast adventure as she tangles with underwater thieves, a school bully, and some dangerous weather.

Eventually she catches her wave as she unexpectedly learns a thing or two about what is threatening the natural environment around her. Lotta and her friends rally together to come up with a creative plan to help protect the sea mammals and ocean waters around their local surf spot.

Published and written by California resident Vanessa Cudmore, featuring eye-catching images by award winning illustrator Antonio Caparo, Lotta Pedal Catches Her Wave is the first book to be released in The Lotta Pedal Adventure Series, targeted to young readers. Each story delivers an action-packed adventure along with learning a thing or two about relevant environmental topics.

Vanessa’s passion and respect for the outdoors is something she wishes to share with all her readers; to inspire them to get outside, explore their own worlds and the beauty of the natural environments around them, with the goal that everyone will find their own unique way to love the planet just a little bit more.
